Responsibilities
- Pre-op Preparation
- Assisting the medical team
- Instrument Sterilization
- Patient Monitoring
- Documentation and Records
- Patient Education on post-procedure care
Required skills and qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a procedural setting, ASC, emergency, or critical care nursing
- BLS certification
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- ACLS certification (must be completed within 90 days of employment)
- Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing
