Job Description:  

The position will assist with the development of policy and implementation recommendations for use by MaineDOT's executive office. This includes providing technical assistance and support related to MaineDOT and State policies for sustainability and resiliency. This will include topics such as renewable resources, greenhouse gas emission reductions, resilient infrastructure, education, electric vehicles, charging stations, grant programs, and future transportation technologies. This position represents the MaineDOT and will work closely with management and the executive office in recommending actions and developing policy. 

To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

An eight (8) year combination of education, training, and/or experience in planning and program development with specific background in specialized field as necessary (i.e. environmental science or planning, grant administration, Sustainability, resilience, policy development etc.).
