The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands Division, is recruiting to fill a Seasonal-14 Weeks Customer Representative Assistant I position, located at the Augusta Campground Reservations office.

 

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: This position assists park patrons who call in to the state park reservations office to provide information and assist them in completing reservations at available reservable campsites in all 12 state park campgrounds; process credit cards for payment; strictly adhere to Bureau’s cash handling policy; perform other duties as required; attend all mandated training; and adhere to all applicable Bureau and State policies. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Training, education, or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates competency in applying a general knowledge of the principles and practices of quality customer service to provide routine reception or reservation services.

LICENSING/REGISTRATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Some positions may require possession of a valid Class C Maine Motor Vehicle Operator’s License prior to completing permanent status.

  • Housing is not available.
  • This position is scheduled to work 40 hours each week, Monday thru Friday.
