Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 14 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
- 3 years of experience with data center equipment procurement at a cloud service provider company or data center equipment supplier.
- Experience in influencing data sets using SQL or another programming/scripting language.
- Experience building, developing, and leading a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience influencing business decisions through disciplined use of data.
- Track record of partnership and collaboration across stakeholders.
- Ability to take initiative in an unstructured environment and is comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent business and financial acumen.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and people management skills.

The Technical Infrastructure (TI) Finance mission is to partner cross-functionally drive optimal decision-making, provide insights for strategic and tactical decisions, and bend the cost curve down to provide Google with a competitive advantage.
In this position, you will lead the Data Center Equipment Finance team, playing a key role in shaping supply chain strategy. You will drive efforts to ensure optimal use of Google capital to expand a rapidly growing data center footprint. This team partners closely with Data Center Equipment Supply Chain, Design, Construction, and Program Controls organizations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $205,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Leverage technical expertise to autonomously deliver insights and make recommendations to optimize cash flow and drive cost savings.
- Drive complex initiatives spanning multiple organizations; Identify the key metrics to measure success, set targets, and actively drive performance against those metrics alongside business partners.
- Partner with engineering to influence design decisions to optimize cost, efficiency, and reduce supply chain complexity.
- Lead work, develop, and build community for the Data Center Finance team.
- Guide the development, automation and consolidation of financial tools to scale team.
