Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- 3 years of experience with 3D graphics and computer vision.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- 3 years of experience working with large quantitites of image and video data.
- 2 years of experience training complex deep neural networks.

In this role, you will manage a team of Machine Learning and general software engineers to develop infrastructure and collect, store, and process image data to support our real-time 3D reconstruction and rendering algorithms for Project Starline through data and infrastructure. You will ensure that our algorithms are fair, robust to all situations, and ready for production.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

- Develop the mid-term technical goal and roadmap within the scope of the teams. Evolve the roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs.
- Design, guide, and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
