Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in sales, sales management, sales operations, chief operating officer, chief of staff or business governance roles.
- Experience collaborating with executives, senior sales and sales operations stakeholders across multiple markets.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing a team of sales operations professionals.
- Experience designing and landing business cadences with global sales organizations and establishing processes to drive operational excellence at scale.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a large, global, exceptional software company with complex matrixed structure.
- Experience of building a vision and strategy for exceptional business governance and leading the rollout.
- Regional experience.
- Knowledge of Enterprise customers and cloud technologies, products and market landscape.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to work in a fast-paced, fast growing, dynamic environment.
- Ability to empathize with and identify needs of stakeholders and work cross-functionally to drive successful implementation and delivery, track outcomes and evolve based on results.

The Business Governance team plays an important role in Google Cloud, acting as trusted advisors to the Sales Organization, partnering with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Strategy & Operations, Partners and People Operations to plan, strategize and run the business in a transformational way. As the Head of Business Governance, you will partner with GTM Strategy and Operations, Regional Strategy and Operations, Sales, Finance, People Operations, Enablement, and cross functional groups to define, plan, operationalize, establish, maintain and execute the end-to-end Rhythms of the Business for Google Cloud GTM. Key outcomes are to establish a business governance structure that simplifies Google Cloud’s execution model. In service of the field, drive a delightful, standardized business rhythm with high value and adoption, while maintaining Cloud’s ability to adapt to changing business priorities and market nuances.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Work with COO, Senior leadership, GTM Strategy and Operations groups to define and manage an end-to-end exceptional Business Governance.
- Drive, maintain and coordinate Global Operations Calendar and rhythm of the business for consistency and aligned execution across all Google Cloud groups.
- Ensure focus and drive insights on key strategic business priorities across all global initiatives and cadences.
- Lead initiatives and cross-functional groups to establish a continuous improvement cycle for business rhythm activities.
- Manage a team of Business Governance Leads.
