Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 12 years of experience in the technical industry with 5 years of experience as an architect or other equivalent customer facing role and experience in AI/ML.
  
• Experience in cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, data, and cloud market insights.
  
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders with the ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments/ roadmaps.
  
• Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process paired with a strong understanding of large scale computing solutions and experience in building, architecting, designing and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems.
  
• Verticalized knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  
• Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate a solution consisting of multiple products.
  
• Ability to drive and influence audiences and identify expansion engagements within accounts.

As a Principal Architect, you will align to the industry Sales team developing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architectural solutions for strategic e-commerce accounts. You will lead the conversation and direct the execution of the Business team. You will partner with Value Engineering in order to articulate the true total value of each technical solution and the overall business partnership with Google Cloud.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $181,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

• Engage with key technology stakeholders and identify customer priorities and technical objections for the Digital Native customers.
  
• Design and position holistic Digital Native industry specific enterprise solution architecture and technical strategy for customers.
• Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a solution providing advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
• Manage the holistic enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with Specialists, Product Management, and Engineering team.
