Job Descrption
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in hardware power electronics or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience in system consumer electronics power architecture, wireless charging, power regulator circuit design, and verification.
Experience in AC/DC products design, circuit topology, or regulatory specifications.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in a technical field.
Experience in battery fuel gauges, algorithm development, firmware development, circuit design, and verification for battery management.
Experience with on-board power design in consumer electronics or related fields.
Solid knowledge on system power delivery, voltage regulator, power IC and power electronics.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
Ability to execute work with minimal supervision. Analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

As a Power Design Engineer, you will help develop new and innovative power technologies. You will work with a team of engineers to design, analyze, optimize, and implement board and system level power architecture.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Lead the system power architecture design for consumer electronics devices and implement design from schematic to Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
Simulate and design complex power circuits like battery charger, fuel gauge, wireless charging, audio amplifier, backlight, etc. Select critical power components to optimize power system electric performance, Bill of Materials (BOM) cost and design trade-offs.
Drive innovative new technologies or new applications of existing technologies. Partner with power industry leaders to lead evaluation and adoption of technologies.
Engage with cross-functionally team to ensure successful power system design, integration, and complete validation.
Provide technical leadership and direction while troubleshooting complex system-level power network issues.
