• Develop complex mechanical solutions as member of multidisciplinary team.
• Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems.
• Work across the full product development cycle, from concept inception to shipping product.
• Leverage external teams (CM/JDMA/vendors) to maximize the focus of internal resources on adding value and differentiation to products.
• Push state-of-the-art technologies and approaches to solving complex mechanical problems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a engineering-related occupation. Requires three years of experience in the following:
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
• Statistical tolerance analysis techniques
• Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Functional dimensioning
• GD&T
• 3D/2D CAD
• Material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, or glass
• Testing and analysis, including FEA, Simulation, and Design of Experiments
• Design for high volume manufacturing techniques such as injection molding, stamping, or die-casting
• Design of products requiring cosmetic surface treatments and interfacing with industrial design teams
• NX CAD package.
