Payment Partnerships Manager, Financial Services at Meta

Job Descrption
- Responsible for leading the Payments strategy developing, and growing financial services initiatives partnering with banks, payment networks, schemes, and financial institutions across the industry ecosystem in Latin America with special emphasis in Brazil.
- Specifically, manage strategic relationships and drive executive-level engagements with key partners across the payment's ecosystem (e.g. payment networks, issuers, processors, merchants).
- Develop the strategy with merchant services providers and technology service providers to drive access and world-class capabilities in digital commerce, payments, and account servicing.
- In addition to informing, influencing, supporting, and executing product and company decisions, provide industry leadership within Facebook.
- Drive cross-functional engagement with teams including Strategy, Finance, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to deliver on key product area objectives.
- Build and manage a Partnerships team.
- Establish meaningful relationships with key ecosystem stakeholders, including financial institutions, industry regulators, and service providers to provide enriching marketplace solutions.
- Furthermore, partner internally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.
- Portuguese fluency, written and oral, required.
- 40% domestic and international travel required.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a payment partnership or finance-related occupation.
- Requires five (5) years of experience in the following:
- 1. Industry experience in payments or financial services in Brazil
- 2. Communicating and presenting C-suite level audience and regulatory bodies
- 3. Understanding of technology concepts and experience with digital security including Tokenization, 3DS, or Authentication
- 4. Experience evaluating trade-offs and opportunities with technical team members
- 5. Understanding of the payments business and payments technical background to support new product development
- 6. Working and negotiating with complex, sophisticated counter parties in large and complex partnership deals in the financial services/payments or FinTech industry
- 7. Project management including leading multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects to completion
- 8. Portuguese fluency, written and oral, required.
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
