Meta seeks a sharp, strategic and highly motivated, team player to join the Litigation team. You will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of teams across the company. This role requires good judgment, a strong work ethic, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a strong interest in learning about new technologies and areas of the law. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting edge issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.Associate General Counsel, Litigation Responsibilities

• Manage and drive strategy for high-profile litigation and pre-litigation matters, including regulatory litigation, consumer class actions, antitrust, constitutional, and commercial disputes, and other content-related matters
• Collaborate with and manage outside counsel Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks
• Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes
• Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities in partnership with our world-class eDiscovery team

Minimum Qualifications

• J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 10+ years of litigation experience at a law firm, government, and/or in-house role
• Experience managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously
• Experience managing high stakes, complex litigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with technology companies
• Experience defending litigation with state and federal regulators
• Experience managing class actions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, both legal and non-legal
• Trial and appellate experience

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
