• Build and manage high performing teams with researchers of different disciplines.
• Articulate the vision of the team to design and product leadership and advocate for the role of research in
  product development.
• Communicate and demonstrate the value of user research, and deliver insights that lead to demonstrable business value.
• Build strong relationships with other
  research teams at Meta to ensure a cohesive and cross-functional vision for Research at Meta.
• Build meaningful cross-functional relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
  identify research topics and generate detailed insights that fuel ideation and evaluates the designs of Meta’s products.
• Manage the budget for research projects.
• Articulate the vision of the
  team to design and product leadership and be a strong advocate for the role of research in product development.
• Be a data expert and have a strong voice in setting up a community
  messaging strategy across Messenger and Meta and strategic discussions and have a strong understanding in the relationship between research, design, marketing, and product.

Minimum Qualifications

• Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field and two years of work experience in job offered or in a business analyst, research, or computer-related occupation. Requires two years of experience in the following:
• 1. Independently managing a high-performing team of researchers
• 2. Setting clear expectations and goals for direct reports and collective team while holding individuals and team accountable for success
• 3. Independently managing day-to-day activities and complex situations, identifying problems and solutions around escalations
• 4. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders as a trusted, strategic partner, via communicating and demonstrating the value of user researcher, and by delivering insights that lead
  to demonstrable business value
• 5. Partnering and building strong relationships with other research teams to ensure a cohesive and cross-functional vision for research.
