Skills
• Proficiency in quantitative research methods
• Strong understanding of UX, HCI, and social sciences

Responsibilities
• Work closely with product and business teams to identify research topics.
• Act as a thought leader in the domain of research while advocating for users.
• Design and execute end-to-end custom primary research using various methods.
• Conduct research using quantitative methods, interpreting analysis through the lens of UX and social science.
• Generate insights that shape product teams’ long-term strategies.
• Write, design, and distribute surveys, interpreting response effects.
• Collaborate with qualitative and mixed methods researchers.
• Partner with design, product management, engineering, and other roles to share research findings.

Qualifications
• Several years of relevant experience in applied quantitative product research.
• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in human behavior related fields.
• Experience working with large-scale data in multi-method studies.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate results to cross-functional stakeholders.

Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, Experimental Psychology, Sociology, Information Science, Economics, Political Science, or Mathematics.

Education Requirements Credential Category
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Experience Requirements
• Experience in survey design and applied statistics.
• Experience handling complex information and adapting to a changing environment.
• Experience querying large behavioral datasets.
• Preferred: Experience with tracking surveys and working with rural and low-income global populations.
