Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive, to join the team as a key player in optimizing the organization's supply chain efficiency by overseeing and expediting the procurement process from requisition to timely delivery of goods and services. This position involves overseeing vendor relationships, negotiation, and collaborating with various departments to align procurement strategies with business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in procurement, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality products at competitive prices.Responsibilities:Ø Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring adherence to company policies.Ø Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and place purchase orders.Ø Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.Ø Expedite orders by monitoring delivery schedules and proactively addressing issues to ensure timely product arrivals.Ø Rigorously follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely issuance of purchase orders, delivery of goods and services, and completion of payments.Ø Work closely with internal teams to assess their procurement needs and provide tailored support before and after the issuance of Purchase Orders.Ø Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.Ø Address procurement-related issues, such as quality concerns and delivery delays, and communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve them promptly.Ø Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities and supplier performance for management review.Ø Handle the preparation and issuance of purchase orders and related documentation.Ø Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications and delivery times.Ø Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts and terms.Ø Execute data entry, reporting, and maintain the procurement database as required.Ø Perform other related tasks as necessary, including coordinating with logistics to ensure seamless delivery of goods. Ø Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.Ø CIPS, CPP, CSCP or other procurement and supply chain related certifications preferred.Ø A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, in the UAE.Ø Preferred industry experience: Priority for FMCG experience, however candidates from Manufacturing, Trading and Construction industry will also be considered.Ø Strong knowledge in procurement strategies and best practices.Ø Good understanding of Logistic Operations.Ø Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.Ø Proficient in Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).Ø Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data.Ø Priority for immediately available candidates – Male candidates.Ø UAE driving license is mandatory.
