Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager who is ACCA or CA qualified with a proven track record in the Big 4 accounting environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial strategies within a dynamic business setting. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, while working closely with senior management to support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Provide detailed analysis of financial performance, highlighting variances, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial reports for the business group.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Prepare detailed financial forecasts and projections, advising senior management on potential risks and opportunities.
• Audit & Compliance:
• Manage the relationship with internal and external auditors, ensuring audits are completed on time and with minimal issues.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings, ensuring compliance with corporate tax regulations.
• Internal Controls & Risk Management:
• Evaluate and strengthen the internal control environment to mitigate risks and ensure financial integrity.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to ensure they align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Business Partnering:
• Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in evaluating investment opportunities, business cases, and potential cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop financial models to support business growth and expansion strategies.
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative, results-oriented team culture focused on excellence and efficiency.
• Big 4 Experience Application:
• Apply the expertise gained in a Big 4 environment to improve business processes, systems, and controls.
• Leverage experience in auditing, advisory, and consulting to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
Key Requirements:
• Qualifications:
• ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Ideally 4-6 years of experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm (e.g., audit, tax, advisory) or with clients in similar industries.
• Skills & Experience:
• Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting, IFRS/GAAP, taxation, and corporate finance.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel) and ERP systems.
• Experience managing audits and liaising with auditors.
