Job Descrption

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Invoice Management**: Review, verify, and process all incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval before entering them into the accounting system.
- **Payment Processing**: Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner. This includes checks, ACH transfers, and credit card payments.
- **Vendor Communication**: Resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors related to invoicing or payments. Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records, ensuring compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- **Reconciliation**: Reconcile accounts payable transactions, including matching purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure correct financial records.
- **Expense Reporting**: Assist with tracking and categorizing company expenses. Generate and provide reports on accounts payable as needed.
- **Month-End Closing**: Support the accounting team during month-end close by providing necessary reports, reconciling balances, and ensuring that all payables are recorded correctly.
- **Compliance & Audit Support**: Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- **Payment Schedules**: Maintain and adhere to payment schedules to ensure cash flow is managed efficiently, avoiding late payment penalties or disruptions to business operations.
