Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Contract Duration: 6 months, extendable up to 12 months
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant / Consolidation Manager to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting efficiency for a leading organization. The role involves overseeing financial operations, consolidation processes for a large group of entities, and driving strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain robust internal controls and oversee regulatory compliance.
• Ensure seamless integration of financial data across subsidiaries, sub-subsidiaries, and associates.
Operational Management:
• Manage daily finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and efficiency in transaction processing.
• Lead the financial consolidation process for a group with 100+ entities, ensuring accurate group reporting.
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting:
• Assist in preparing and managing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Develop and maintain management reporting frameworks.
• Track financial performance against budgets and recommend corrective actions.
• Create dashboards and KPIs for effective financial monitoring.
Leadership and Team Development:
• Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals.
• Foster effective collaboration within the finance team and across departments.
• Allocate tasks and ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
Stakeholder Coordination & Query Resolution:
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical financial queries.
• Coordinate with senior management and finance teams across subsidiaries.
• Stay updated with IFRS and relevant accounting standards for compliance.
Process Optimization and Risk Management:
• Identify and implement best practices to enhance financial processes.
• Proactively manage financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvements in consolidation, reporting, and financial monitoring.
Qualifications & Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Proven experience in financial consolidation for large groups (100+ entities).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or other financial management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
