Job Descrption
Dataacquisition, image processing, interpretation and report generationincluding 3D and cross sectional videos from CT Scanner raw datafiles (DICOM)
Execute analysis as perdocumented Standard & Guidelines and procedures conformingto client analysis programs as per the flow diagram provided andcommunicated by the Team Leader or Senior Laboratory Engineer Control quality of service during allphases of the laboratory work to ensure that products of highestquality are delivered to the Client.
Ensurethat all equipment in the Laboratory Such as CMS-300, Logtec Thin Sectioning Machine, Profile Permeameter, MICP and all otherequipment tools in custody are well maintained, calibrated properlyand as required. Plan for all spare parts, chemicals, cleaning
Solvents...etc. availability within his workarea.
Organize and... participate to performrequired Thin Sections preparation, Poro-Perm measurements using
CMS-300, Profile Permeability measurements, and Mercury Injection Capillary Pressure, Grain Volume and other requiredmeasurements.
Take necessary actions forrunning and operation of computerized equipment, Calibration,Service program and routinemaintenance.
Prepare the final invoices forcompleted projects and submit to the Team Leader/Senior Laboratory Engineer for further processing
Report anyequipment failures and operational problems and executesolutions.
Monitors, enforces, and adhere HSErules and regulations environment measures. Arrange for safety kitand requirements for subordinate personnel and ensure the use ofsuch kit. Adheres to company's HSE rules and policiesregarding toxicity, safe use, storage and disposal ofenvironmentally harmful and toxic wastes.
Asteam member perform training of new employees in ACC, ADNOC Groupof companies or third party service provider laboratories, ensurethe safety environment during thetraining.
Work in a team environment andcomplete the given tasks on a timely and efficientbasis.
Carry out periodic stock checkups forchemicals and material in the stores which are required by thesection and reports shortage also prepares preliminary requisitionsfor requirements from concernedcatalogues
Calculate, interpret results andprepare the measurements reports with finding and recommendationsto the concerned departments.
Train Laboratorystaff to progress on Project Management.
Provide training to other employeesfor CT Scanning and CT Scan data processing and other areas whererequired.
Handling any other relatedresponsibility as assigned by the Team Leader/Senior Laboratory Engineer.
MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or engineeringdegree in Geology/Petroleum field orequivalent
Minimum 5-year experience as Laboratory technician for core analysis including CT scanner dataprocessing in oil field or similarlaboratories.
Knowledge and application ofinternational Standards and Guidelines for coreanalyses.
Proficiency in working with Microsoftoffice and core data management I.T. systems.
Ability to adapt toother relevant ACC developedsoftware.
Communication skills in English withthe ability to engage with team players and management in atechnically coherent manner
