Job Overview:

Emirates Talent Solution is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant for a leading company in the Property Development & Real Estate Brokerage industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and finance within the real estate sector, with a focus on managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management:
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Audit & Compliance:
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, and prepare and file tax returns on time.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Cost Control & Budgeting:
• Develop and monitor budgets for property development projects, ensuring that costs are controlled and within approved limits.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making on property investments and development strategies.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Financial Planning & Strategy:
• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with business goals.
• Prepare financial models and feasibility studies for new property developments and investments.
• Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Ensure that the finance team is up-to-date with the latest financial regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the finance team.
• Client & Investor Relations:
• Liaise with clients, investors, and financial institutions to manage financial transactions and reporting requirements.
• Support the business development team in financial negotiations and deal structuring for property acquisitions and sales.
• Maintain strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on property development and real estate.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles specific to the real estate industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in managing financial operations for large-scale property development projects is highly desirable.
