POSITION OBJECTIVEThe job holder will be responsible for the preparation/ revision of architectural drawings , technical drawings , designs and space planning. In this capacity, the Draftsman is expected to develop, coordinate and produce working drawings and details for stores, as conceptualized by Senior Architect / Senior Projects Manager in the form of sketches or specifications including the tabulation of areas and preparing the data sheets.DO Key Responsibilities1.Layouts and Planning Understand and develop the store design plans based on the area allocations received from the Corporate and as per the conceptual design provided by the Senior Architect / Senior Projects Manager at the Concept Understand the requirements of various departments in the store and the issues related to the different types of merchandise in each department Develop department allocation based on the store location, sales figures and guidelines from the Retail Operations Manager and the Concept Manager... Understand various shop fittings and their design implications Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or updates. Develop conceptual 3D s / models / mock ups of various critical areas, new developments within the proposed shop and various shop for the better understanding of the retail team Develop complete architectural construction and design documents for the showroom that will include a comprehensive floor plan(s), exterior elevations, interior elevations, details, perspectives, sections, A/c diffuse allocation, lightning, graphic imaging (3D Presentation) and all material selections and finishes using Computer aided design, AutoCAD Assist with estimating project costs and timelines based on technical specifications and plans. Liaise with contractors, manufacturers and suppliers to ensure accurate representation of materials and specifications Preparing data sheets and tabulation of the infirmations from drawings2.Flooring, Ceiling, Electrical and Lighting Design Drawings Understand and develop detail drawings for the following, with focus on cost, quality and durability:o Shop fittings layouto Partition planso Electrical and lighting layoutso Coordinated MEP drawings ando All relevant local shop fitting detail Review and verify drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy Survey sites and prepare follow up plans for any kind of installation as necessary3.Design Coordination & Monitoring Develop all coordination drawing integrating the HVAC / MEP details and services as received from the Corporate or Consultant Submit all drawings, details and reports to the relevant Teams / Mall management within the stipulated time frame 4.People Management Develop and mentor subordinates to move to the next higher level of job through career planning Ensure compliance to Company policies and values5.Miscellaneous Build and share knowledge of the latest retail design trends and computer aided technologies available POSITION OBJECTIVEThe job holder will be responsible for the preparation/ revision of architectural drawings , technical drawings , designs and space planning.
