IT Senior Business Analyst at ENGINEERINGUK

Job Descrption
This role involves working on strategically critical projects with high complexity and uncertainty.
Responsible for interacting with stakeholders across the Operational business unit, Group functions, and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs and translate them into operational and process improvements, periodically leading teams of IT Business Analysts in translating complex business challenges into actionable solutions.
Strategic Analysis & Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to identify and define strategically significant business problems and opportunities.
• Analyse the current 'As-Is' state and define business requirements to achieve the desired 'To-Be' state.
• Develop robust business cases to support proposed changes and improvements.
Project Planning & Management
• Plan and manage analysis tasks throughout the project... lifecycle, including coordinating other Business Analysts working on related activities.
• Manage requirements end-to-end, ensuring traceability at all project stages.
• Lead detailed test planning and execution activities for small to medium-sized projects.
Support internal IT teams and external suppliers to design, test, and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Manage detailed cutover planning and execution activities.
Business Analysis Best Practice Development
• Lead the internal business analysis competency within teams by driving and developing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Determine and implement improvements to business analysis tools and practices.
Handle management of suppliers and 3rd party organizations to ensure successful project delivery.
Communicate effectively and persuasively, both in writing and orally, at all levels, ensuring clarity and avoiding ambiguity.
• Engage and influence stakeholders, including those without direct control, to support articulation and definition of business problems and opportunities.
• Translate complex IT and business-related information into user-friendly presentations and materials.
Proven track record in delivering technical and business-related projects.
• Strong understanding of providing IT solutions, products, services, and applications in an enterprise setting.
• Familiarity with change management and modern techniques to support project delivery.
• Qualifications : Must have worked in a Senior Business Analyst delivery role providing IT solutions to business issues.
• Project Management : Recognized project management skills, with the ability to ensure compliance with methodologies and governance standards.
• Ability to translate business opportunities into technical solutions.
• Takes ownership and drives projects to completion.
• Ensures projects comply with governance and quality standards.
