Role: Trading System Engineer
You will drive the reliability of ultra-low latency trading systems in this critical role. You'll optimize high-frequency trading operations across global markets, pushing the boundaries of algorithmic trading performance. You're a problem-solving expert who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Your passion for financial technology and ability to navigate undefined issues make you an asset in the world of algorithmic trading where you collaborate with world-class quants and engineers across the board while continuously learning and developing your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure 24/7... availability of mission-critical HFT trading platforms
• Implement proactive monitoring for high-frequency trading systems
• Optimize multi-asset class trading operations across diverse geographies
• Troubleshoot complex issues in low-latency environments
• Develop Python scripts for trade support automation
Required Qualifications:
• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Proven experience supporting high-performance trading applications
• Expertise in FIX protocol and multicast technologies
• Strong SQL skills for financial database management
• Proficiency in Linux administration for large-scale trading environments
• Experience with electronic trading systems (prop trading firm background preferred)
