Job Descrption
Senior Planning Engineer to lead planning efforts for Infrastructure Projects, ensuring successful execution from tendering through to delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, facilitating alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Coordinate the planning process, including scope definition, resource allocation and risk assessment.
• Develop and review detailed project schedules, progress reports and performance metrics to provide insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors during all project phases, ensuring clear communication and alignment on deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address delays and cost overruns.
• Mentor and supervise junior planning staff, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• At... least 10 years of experience in planning engineering for infrastructure projects, with full lifecycle experience from tendering to delivery.
• Proven experience in the GCC region, with knowledge of local regulations and practices.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other relevant project management software.
• Experience with Substations or related Electrical Infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
