• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program at an accredited 4-year institution. This opportunity is open to all undergraduate students, from first-year students to seniors,
• Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e., work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.),
• Basic understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement),
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, including debits and credits,
• Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets for financial analysis. Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus,
• A performance-focused, results-oriented approach - you will need a strong work ethic and drive to achieve results,
• Ownership mentality, self-motivation, ambition, and... entrepreneurial spirit,

What the job involves
• As a Finance and Accounting Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience by supporting our team in managing daily financial and accounting operations,
• Your analytical skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to the financial health of our organization,
• Individuals selected for our Internship Program will actively contribute to our company’s growth while benefiting from hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development,
• Our internship program is based five days a week in the Seaport District of Boston. Throughout the summer, interns will work on impactful projects that directly influence our brand’s progress,
• Additionally, interns will engage in a collaborative group project, playing a key role in driving significant advancements within a specific area of our organization,
• Invoice Management: Process invoices and resolve any variances between internal and external records to maintain accurate financial records,
• Journal Entries: Create and manage entries for financial transactions,
• Payment Handling: Reconcile payments from various vendors and ensure records are up-to-date,
• Financial Reconciliation: Support daily financial reconciliation activities to aid in reporting,
• Forecast vs. Actual Analysis: Support the analysis and presentation of forecast vs. actual results for monthly reconciliation activities,
• Ad-hoc Analyses: Contribute to ad-hoc analyses that inform strategic decision-making across the organization
