Are you an experienced Office Manager in the Construction Industry looking to join a well-established, family-oriented business that's been thriving for over 25 years in the Heritage and Restoration industry?

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager with a background in construction to oversee a team of 12 office staff and support an additional 20 site-based staff, including Site Managers (who are managed by the Contracts Manager and Logistics Team).

As a principal contractor, our client handles all aspects of construction projects, focusing on craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and attention to detail. We are looking for an Office Manager who shares these values and is ready to contribute to our continued success.

Office Manager Role Overview

In this hands-on role, you will oversee HR, administration, marketing, and the daily management of the office. This role is vital to ensuring compliance and smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. You will report directly... to the Contracts Director. This is a full-time, office-based role in vibrant and iconic location of Leicester Square in the heart of London (5 days a week) with office hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Office Manager Responsibilities
• Oversee general office administration, ensuring systems are efficient and well-organised.
• Manage secretarial and PA duties, including phones and scheduling.
• Maintain company documentation and ensure records are up to date.
• Regularly review company procedures for compliance and efficiency.
• Manage client and supplier databases and company insurance policies.
• Support the Contracts, Estimating, and Logistics teams with administrative tasks.
• Compile and submit PQQs and ensure subcontractor vetting.
• Organise training sessions and maintain the company’s training matrix.
• Keep the company website and social media channels updated.
• Assist with tender submissions and marketing efforts.
• Contribute to the achievement and maintenance of ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations.

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong mathematical, writing, and analytical skills.
• Business administration qualification (desired but not essential).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project).
• Familiarity with website management (Squarespace) is a plus.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of construction industry practices is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Willingness to seek guidance and support when needed.
