The primary responsibility of the position is to perform accurate monthly and quarterly billing. A successful candidate demonstrates an exceptional attention to detail, enjoys working with numbers and data, and has efficient time management skills to meet the deadlines.   

This is a full-time, in person non-exempt position. Applicants must be able to work in the Addison/Dallas, TX office. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Billing
    • Become a subject matter expert on the billing software, Envestnet Tamarac
    • Apply detailed billing settings to new accounts obtained through organic growth and acquisitions
    • Generate monthly and quarterly billing files
    • Review the billing files for completeness and accuracy
    • Work with custodians as well as internal Operations/Client Service departments to resolve any rejections and exceptions
    • Process any intra-billing adjustments, such as refunds and pro-rated billings
  2. Maintaining accurate fee billing schedules
    • Develop effective communications with Client Service, Trading and other departments; have a good understanding of the information flow
    • Follow the Company’s internal control processes and procedures to ensure there are appropriate approvals and audit trails for any changes to billing schedules and/or set up of new billing schedules
  3. Process improvement
    • Periodically assess current processes for scalability to sustain the Company’s growth

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or college-level classes preferred
  • 2 - 5 years of experience as a Billing Specialist in the Financial Industry 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Process-oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
