We seek an innovative, design-focused, growth-focused product manager who can join our team and help make PolyAI the best conversational AI platform.
In this role, you will guide roadmap planning for our user-facing products, and oversee go-to-market activities for new products and features in the portfolio. You will be up to speed on the market landscape in order to articulate a market-differentiated product experience that addresses the sophisticated needs of our customer base. You will need to influence peers on new product introductions, run the operational practices, and oversee execution for your product areas.
Requirements
- Collaborate with the team, customers, and stakeholders to explore and clearly communicate the problem space, its constraints, opportunities, and desired outcomes
- Facilitate product vision through research, concept development, wireframing, and prototyping
- Convert ideas, feedback, and requirements into effective product solutions, focusing on user-friendly flows and interfaces
- Determine the rationale behind prioritizing initiatives, assess their outcomes, and ensure solutions are consistently reviewed and tested, using a data-driven approach in product design decisions
- Be comfortable exploring the unknown using fresh and unique approaches to design problems.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate characteristics and experiences to include:
- 3+ years of product design, UI/UX design, visual design, or equivalent experience
- Bonus points if you have basic front end development skills
- Portfolio that demonstrates evidence of launching software at scale in a fast-paced product organization
- You are highly motivated to learn new things about complex technology, cultural and demographic nuances, and their impact on various user experiences
- Ability to work independently to explore concepts from beginning to end, yet also crave healthy feedback loops with your ideas
- Deep organization and execution skills, especially in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, articulating high-level team goals and connecting your work to larger team or company initiatives
- A high-level of craftsmanship when it comes to UI
- Outstanding attention to detail with a proven track record of working within and contributing to a design system
- Experience working with consumer research and data is a plus
- Proficient in Figma, including high-fidelity prototyping and component libraries
- Passionate and curious about how design can be leveraged to improve users’ ability to build excellent voice assistants
- Excellent team-building, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
