A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Westminster are on the hunt for Aspiring Psychology Teacher for an ASAP start. This is a full time, and permanent post.
• * Due to a candidate shortage this year my client is looking to take people on a permanent contract at £26,500 going up to £36,500 (pending experience) **
You will be working across the Psychology Department, supporting KS4-5 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring Psychology Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling onto teacher training.
The Head Teacher would ideally like a Psychology Graduate with any of the following Psychology related degrees:
• Psychology
• Psychology with Counselling
• Forensic Psychology
• Social Psychology
• Criminology and Psychology
• Philosophy and Psychological Studies
• Social Sciences (Psychology)
• Computing & IT and... Psychology
• Combined STEM (Psychology)
• Childhood and Youth Studies (Psychology)
You will have the opportunity to enrol onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Secondary School either starting September 2025 or 2026.

• Aspiring Psychology Teacher Program
• Secondary Teaching Assistant (Subject dependent)
• Working across KS4-5 with a focus on raising attainment
• Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
• Enrolling onto the Aspiring Psychology Teacher Program (Schools Direct)
• ASAP start - Full Time & Permanent
• £26,500 - £36,500 permanent contract (Pay is dependent on teaching experience / ability)
• Located in the Borough of Westminster
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Must have a desirable degree from the above subjects from a reputable University
• Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
• Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
• You must be able to engage and motivate the students
• Commitment and ambition to succeed is key throughout!
