Graduate Manufacturing EngineerLocation: CleckheatonSalary: £35,000 per year (depending on experience)Hours: 39 hours per week, flexible working hours, 1pm finish on FridaysBenefits: Life Assurance, Private Medical Care, Company BonusPosition Type: PermanentCompany Overview:An established globally recognized business in the automotive retail industry, trading for over 40 years, experiencing significant growth.Job Description:The Graduate Manufacturing Engineer will review, design, and implement production processes. Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing processes, resolving issues, maintaining product integrity, and influencing cost.Key Duties:Develop and maintain production processes and procedures.Implement process improvement activities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Support new product introduction and collaboration between Engineering & Production.Gather relevant production data throughout the New Product Development process.Maintain production process... documentation.Design tools or equipment to improve the production process.Design production flow lines, factory floorplans, and modular workstations.Facilitate Engineering changes and support the Engineering change process.Contribute to the Design for Manufacture process.Key Requirements:HNC or HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Ability to generate clear production assembly work instructions.Experience in developing production flow lines.General knowledge in root cause corrective action, lean, and project planning.Experience in Mechanical CAD programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo, or similar.If you are interested in this position, please contact Rodger Morley at E3 Recruitment.
