Job Description
- Strategic Guidance:
- Provide strategic guidance on integrating export control into business processes.
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain policies in compliance with Customs, HydraForce, and Bosch directives.
- US Re-export Control:
- Ensure business compliance with US re-export control regulations.
- Sanctioned Party List Screening:
- Conduct screening of business partners.
- Resolve, report, and document matches.
- Classification:
- Classify products according to the consolidated list of strategic military and dual-use items.
- Classify customers appropriately for review: Civil, Military, Unknown.
- Export Licensing:
- Evaluate and document the need for export licenses, especially for controlled items and sensitive end-uses.
- Training:
- Conduct internal training on export control regulations.
- Promote awareness across departments.
- Audit and Monitoring:
- Regularly audit export processes and documentation for compliance.
- Annual Export Control Self-assessment:
- Report and present findings to commercial management.
Qualifications
- Level 4 Advanced Customs Compliance or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years previous experience in Export and Export Control.
- In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, export controls, and sanctions.
- Experience in classifying products under export control classification numbers.
- Familiarity with software tools for automated screening and compliance management.
- Effective communication to conduct training sessions and articulate compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge of FourthShift or other MRP systems.
