Job Description
The Role
This role will be the “go-to” person to use SimaPro® software platform on which the Eurofins Footwear Impact Tool is built and to provide bespoke Life Cycle Assessments for our clients. You will build strong relationships with both internal and external clients across a variety of consumer product groups.
Making modifications to the SimaPro® back-end to provide bespoke solutions to Eurofins brand, retailer and footwear supply chain stakeholders
To use SimaPro® software to provide LCA’s (full or indicative) for manufacturers and brands within the softline, toys and hardline consumer product division of Eurofins
To research and analyse sustainability impact information and data on sustainability-focused topics.
To present information on behalf of the consultancy function to liaise directly with clients and other project stakeholders, providing a highly effective consultative support.
To support in the business development of LCA’s including but not limited to project planning, generating promotional materials, and developing internal processes.
Innovating and developing/evolving our existing products and services to be more “value added” for our customers.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Knowledge of and experience with environmental consulting, life cycle assessment and modeling software, preferably an expert user of SimaPro® software or other leading LCA software
Ideally degree educated in a STEM subject, e.g. Environmental Science, Geography
Affinity with sustainability is a must
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Good data management and quality assurance skills
Demonstrated computer skills – requires excellent Microsoft Office experience (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Positive “can-do” attitude.
Experience of working in a consultancy capacity desirable but not essential.
Travel occasionally required
