The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Facilities Manager to support the national Eurofins Forensics Servcies (EFS) Facilities team, based at our new Midlands facility in Tamworth. To assist with the delivery of facilities management across the business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
On site contractor management across the national estate
Ensure all facilities responsibilities and associated equipment are maintained as minimum to legal compliance levels.
Ensure building maintenance is completed and recorded.
Engage and interact with all Facilities internal and external points of contact
To assist with national projects ensuring good communication with all stake holders.
Arrange and chair meetings as required ensuring defined actions are agreed and progressed.
To facilitate and as necessary undertake the investigation and rectification of facilities related issues including those identified as an outcome of risk assessments, audit and inspection.
To maintain clear records for all facilities and associated project activity – this is to include (but is not exclusive to) maintenance records, site details, maintenance contracts and legal records.
Carry out site inspections/surveys as required and on a risk based approach.
Input requisitions onto the company finance system and follow up orders for Facilities activity as required.
Resolving outstanding invoices and requisitions.
Support UKAS audits and customer visits, including facilities, H&S, scientific, security and BCDR as appropriate and directed.
Support Operational Teams in ensuring facilities laboratory capability is maintained.
To maintain awareness of developments in facilities management and establish relevance to the business.
Assist with KPI monitoring.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
Required
Knowledge of Health and Safety working practices
Ability to take ownership of issues that arise within the day to day running of facilities – seeing things through to the end
