Working within a highly collaborative team of technical experts you will apply your background in LC-MS to provide structural identification and insights to R&D project teams in support of the registration of sustainable crop protection products.  A recent example is the registration of TYMIRIUM® technology which protects crops against soil-borne pests.  You will use your experience to solve analytical problems and build relationships with Contract Research Organisations (CROs) to deliver innovative technical solutions.  Dependent on your experience you may be involved in project teams, working across technical functions with other Syngenta experts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide expert reviews of externally produced data sets and contribute to technical responses to CROs.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our world-leading instrumentation suite, working with the team to provide routine maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instruments, including Thermo Orbitraps and an Agilent Q-TOF.
  • Work collaboratively across experimental teams to provide technical assistance and facilitate transfer of technical knowledge internally and to external suppliers, where appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with Syngenta HSE requirements.
