Job Description
Experian is looking for an Information Technology Security Project Manager Lead with experience in managing simultaneous global projects. Responsibilities will include defining the scope of the projects, creating and managing the project plan, identifying key stakeholders, producing proper documentation, ensuring all work is compliant with the relevant standards and projects are completed within the deadline. The IT Security Project Manager Lead will demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills in forming teams from local and remote sources, both within the region and in the wider global group, and ensuring close communication and teamwork to contribute to project success.
What you'll be doing
Act as a project manager on multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects and major strategic initiatives spanning multiple organizations, including third-party businesses
Serve as a team leader in the capacity of evaluating the work of the team
Work on large projects that exceed twelve months in duration and have significant budget impact on the business unit
Develop and compose business cases to support the acquisition of development of critical project components
Collect, analyze, and summarize information on project phases, task, duration, resources, and costs
Participate in developing plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and resource assignments for projects that are subject to management review and approval
Act as liaison among internal and external stakeholders, business unit functional areas and project development teams to ensure effective project coordination among participating groups
Facilitate communication among project participants to expedite project processes to resolve issues and problems
Identify areas within the business unit where process improvements may benefit project performance
Work closely with information security specialists and other teams to understand and prioritize the remediation of identified vulnerabilities/initiatives and track status of the activities
Collaborate with key project members to document and obtain buy-in and approvals items such as requirements, scope to meet the requirements, milestones, project health changes, issue and risks
Qualifications
What your background looks like
10+ years' of project management experience
3+ years’ experience in Cyber/Information Security project management
Excellent knowledge of Cyber Security, Information Technology, Risk and Compliance
Excellent knowledge of computer systems and processes and PC desktop applications
Excellent knowledge of legislation and regulations impacting business unit industry
Proficient in MS project, Excel, Visio, Jira etc.
Experience with Agile methodologies
Experience with Information Security/Technology/Infrastructure projects
Excellent verbal and written communication, project management, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Certified Scrum Master
