The Configuration Analyst is directly responsible for:
·Supporting the media production function within the Configuration Management team.
· Ensure media is produced/delivered accurately and to agreed timescales.
· Securing media releases and copying them to the Definitive Media Library.
· Producing monthly discs for Windows Security and Symantec Endpoint Protection updates.
· The maintenance and update of the Definitive Media Library.
· Effective prosecution of the Configuration Management process using controlled processes, procedures and tools to maintain the Configuration Management System and continued compliance to required ISO20K certification.
· Providing support and justification of Configuration Management principles, processes and procedures.
· Updating and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring that data quality and accuracy is of the highest standard.
· The analysis, implementation, review and test of proposed changes to all Configuration Items (CIs) and structures.
· Investigation and resolution of all defects and problems reported against the Configuration Management process.
· Production and delivery of reports – customer, status accounting, trend analysis, ad-hoc.
· Audit of CI’s to maintain the accuracy and requirements of the contracts.
· Maintaining current and archived versions of documents in the Document Reference Library.
· Ensuring that the appropriate data, forms and CIs are available for use by all authorised personnel.
· Creation and maintenance of baselines and releases.
· Update and maintenance of the Configuration Management toolsets.
· Effective integration and interaction with other service support and delivery process areas, including regular review of all interaction points and implementation of any corrective actions.
· Implementing appropriate housekeeping and archiving activities for Configuration Management controlled data areas.
· Managing and performing ad-hoc Configuration Management requests. · Participating in internal and external audits as appropriate.
· Alignment to all Corporate Policies.
Additional Tasks
· Completion of weekly timesheets.
· Completion of SSS-Public Safety Mandatory Training Modules.
· Produce documentation in line with quality/formal standards.
· Provide monthly KPI information for management reporting.
· Attendance of the Change Advisory Board meeting.
· Provide training and mentoring for other members of the team.

· Consistently demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
