Job Description

Full time role, will consider Part-time hours. 

Salary: £28,000- £32,000

This role is to ensure that our pension and benefits are correctly processed from end to end and dealt with associated queries from both internal colleagues and external third parties. 

You will act as a first point of contact and deal promptly with queries and issues to a satisfactory resolution.

  • To work with the Group Pensions & Benefits Manager, Onshore and Offshore HR colleagues and Payroll team to resolve day to day pension, benefit and related payroll queries as appropriate to ensure prompt resolutions are provided
  • Reconciling monthly invoices from Benefit providers and liaising with finance teams on any queries
  • Must be able to take ownership of the accuracy and quality of your own work
  • Assist with the monthly payroll reporting and processing for pension and benefit changes and selections
  • Understanding our benefits platform and managing any queries from colleagues including accessing and navigation in addition to contractual entitlements
  • Assisting with the Annual Benefits renewal window process and M&A/TUPE activity where required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of end-to-end pension, benefit and payroll administration in a similar role, with a number of different contract arrangements and rules is essential
  • The ability to manually calculate, for example, pensions and other benefit deductions when dealing with queries is essential
  • Understand how pension schemes work, including automatic enrolment
  • Understanding of UK payroll legislation including PAYE, taxable benefits, statutory absence payments etc
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office, Word and Excel applications and HR/Payroll systems
  • Solid understanding of different benefit plans, eg health & dental insurance etc
  • Excellent confidentiality, efficiency, organisational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail and the ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels (internal and external)
