We are looking to recruit an experienced and diligent SaaS Product Owner to oversee the continued development of our Case Management product suite. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Product Manager in defining, planning and managing the product vision, strategy, development and execution throughout the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in defining and managing the product vision, ensuring that it aligns with the overall company and product strategy.
· Work closely with stakeholders, customers, and software developers to gather, analyse and prioritise product requirements.
· Facilitate the decomposition of business requirements into Use Cases and User Stories that can be understood and acted upon by the software engineers.
· Attend Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint planning, review and retrospective meetings.
· Act as the primary contact for queries related to the product and its features. · Manage the product backlog, prioritising according to business value, complexity, and risk. · Partner with the marketing team to translate technical details into benefits for the user.
· Collaborate with the customer support team to understand and prioritise customer issues.
· Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management in the SaaS or software sector.
· Experience working with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
· Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
· Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. · Demonstrable ability to support the creation of sound product strategies and help to convert these into executable plans.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· An understanding of youth justice services, particularly in a Local Authority context.
