Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a Space Systems Engineer, you will join our team in Alton to support our activities within the Space sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for defining and carrying out System/Ground System activities
- Manage the system requirements
- Understand and capture customer (and/or internal stakeholder) requirements for manifesting multiple payloads onto a single spacecraft platform
- Develop algorithms for autonomous navigation and control

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Knowledge of space standards (ECSS)
- Experience with Technical Modelling Tools like GMAT, STK, CAD tools
- Knowledge of Verification support for spacecraft, focussing on software and communications protocols.
- Experience in Software verification and Software lifecycle management
