Job Description
- What will you be doing?
As a Mechanical Engineer - (Equipment Contracts), you will join in Bristol to support our activities within the Energy Sector
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Address and resolve multi-disciplinary technical issues and queries, taking ownership of resolving technical Open Points (OP), interface queries, and Design Changes (UKDC).
- Review and give approval for contract amendments and exemptions, including Contract Technical Specifications (CTSs) and Engineering Requests (ERs).
- Collaborate with Research and Development (RD) and client teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment with interfacing functions, systems, and structures.
- Maintain awareness of contract commercial structures and working practices, including effective supplier management.
Who are we looking for?
- Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of nuclear processing regulations.
- Experienced in designing EPR TEP/TEU systems, as well as other nuclear/safety classified tanks, fluid handling systems, and mechanical components.
- Familiar with equipment supply contracts and contract forms like NEC/FIDIC.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Relevant Industrial background in either oil and gas, chemical, power, Nuclear.
