Job Description
What will you be doing?
As NVH engineer for our UK-based team, you'll play a pivotal role in a dynamic project focused on identifying and resolving squeak and rattle issues in vehicles by conducting root cause analyses. In this capacity, your focus our focus includes innovatively developing methodologies for noise assessment related to trim panel movements, evaluating risk under various loading conditions, and proactively implementing mitigation measures. Collaborating closely with the NVH team, you'll contribute to ongoing efforts to optimise vehicle design and minimise squeak and rattle concerns.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Take charge of identifying and analysing squeak and rattle issues, conducting thorough root cause analyses.
- Innovate and implement methodologies for evaluating noise from trim panel movements at both vehicle and component levels.
- Evaluate the potential for squeak or rattle occurrences under varying loading conditions, adapting to available data and the development program's state.
- Work closely with the NVH team to enhance and optimize designs specifically addressing squeak and rattle concerns.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1-5 years in NVH Engineering, preferably with an automotive background.
- Awareness of automotive industry standards
- Skilled in utilizing Siemens LMS for the setup of data acquisition and post-processing
