Job Description
What will you be doing?
We are looking for an Engine System Test Engineer who has a good understanding of how a diesel engine works, ideally with an automotive background. Based in the dynamic environment of Coventry, your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will be
- Engine development, Performance Analysis, Test and Verification
- Test rig Engine Simulation
- Process Improvement
- Customer & Supplier project management
- Different testing activities for Engine subcomponents (injector, pumps…)
- Report writing and Data analysis

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 3+ YOE as an Engine Test Engineer, preferably within the automotive industry
- Expertise in testing and validation of different engine subcomponents such as injectors and pumps
- Strong understanding about Diesel Engine/ Fuel Injection Systems / Engine Calibration.
- Project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
