Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a P&E calibration engineer for our UK-based team, you'll lead calibration strategy development, manage testing plans, and oversee a team of engineers and technicians. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, providing technical support, and presenting progress updates to senior management. Ideal for those passionate about engineering excellence and innovation in propulsion and emissions calibration.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Lead hardware development of emissions-critical components, including compression and spark ignition combustion systems, fuel injection equipment, air handling systems.
Drive calibration development and release processes for both base engine performance and emissions, as well as aftertreatment performance and control.
Apply relevant legislation to guide hardware selection and calibration processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Coordinate test bed and machine engine calibration activities, including climatic testing, to achieve 'Off-Highway' emissions and performance targets.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree Mechanical Engineering, Automotive engineering or a related field.
Proven experience of 1-5 years in Calibration Engineering, preferably with an automotive background.
Awareness of automotive industry standards
