Job Description
What will you be doing?
As a Lead Nuclear Engineer, you will join our team in Derby to support our activities within the Nuclear sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Lead a multidisciplinary team in the conceptual/system design and analysis of various systems related to plant build, modularisation and skid structures.
Design, define and implementing concepts into requirements pertaining to process design, piping structures and skid frames.
Providing inputs within the design, simulation and calculation phases of the whole project.
Create HAZOP & HAZID reports with constructability, safety considerations in place.
Ensure all QHSE standards are incorporated throughout the design and development phase.
Monitor project progress and ensure all deliverables are met within set deadlines and budget.
Who are we looking for?
A person able to lead and drive a team of various disciplines and being able to strike a balance between various stakeholders.
Prior exposure to large Nuclear Energy, Renewable or Oil & Gas projects.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
Degree in Environmental, Oil & Gas, Nuclear sciences or related fields.
Previous management in leading and delivering large complex projects within the Energy sector or safety critical industries.
Familiarity of various tools related to engineering/ Project management/methods such as Ms Projects, Inventor, IBM DOORS etc.
Eligibility to achieve BPSS clearance.
