Job Description
What will you be doing?
As the Cabin System Owner, your role will immerse you in the heart of integrating and delivering the cabin's electrical system for EV heavy vehicles with meticulous attention to detail and strategic oversight. You will serve as the linchpin in this process, orchestrating a series of critical tasks that ensure the seamless integration and efficient delivery of electrical systems tailored specifically for electric vehicle applications.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Analyzing user-level requirements provided by the product team and breaking them down into detailed software and hardware specifications.
- Developing test cases to verify cabin functionality at the vehicle level, utilizing lab cars or prototype vehicles.
- Assisting in the packaging of electrical components to optimize spatial utilization and ensure seamless integration.
- Taking ownership of the cabin's electrical architecture, designing and maintaining a robust framework.
- Overseeing the delivery of software from cabin module suppliers and ensuring smooth integration.
- Facilitating communication between the internal software team and suppliers, ensuring cohesive integration.
- Identifying and documenting service and manufacturing requirements, ensuring their implementation.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree Mechanical Engineering, Automotive engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record in the automotive industry, with specialization in design, development, and release processes.
- Proven experience of 3+ years in Engineering, preferably with an automotive background.
- Awareness of automotive industry standards
- Experience with electric vehicle (EV) systems and heavy vehicles is preferred but not mandatory.
