Job Description
What will you be doing?
As an Electric Drive Unite Engineer, you will join the Coventry team to support our activities within the Automotive sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design, develop, and optimize electric drive units for vehicles, ensuring they meet performance, efficiency, and durability requirements.
- Integrate electric drive components such as electric motors, inverters, and power electronics into vehicle architectures while considering space, weight, and thermal management constraints.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electric drive units to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements for safety, emissions, and performance

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge in power electronics components and systems, such as semiconductor devices, converters, rectifiers, inverters, and voltage regulation techniques.
- Experience with electric drive units, transmissions and automatic gearbox
- Knowledge of CAD, MATLAB, Simulink and FEA
