We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who’s ready to grow with us and take on CTO responsibilities in the near future. The right candidate will have the opportunity to receive a large equity grant and play a pivotal role in building and scaling our platform.

We are revolutionizing the way football clubs leverage data to enhance performance, recruitment, and commercial strategies. Our flagship product, Arsene, is an AI-powered Sports Data Analyst designed to provide comprehensive insights through interactive dashboards and a conversational AI interface. By integrating multiple data sources, Arsene empowers football managers, heads of recruitment, and club executives to make informed, data-driven decisions effortlessly.
• Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in developing Arsene. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both frontend and backend development, experience with data integration and visualization tools, and a passion for sports analytics. You will collaborate closely with our UI/UX designers, data engineers, and product managers to build a scalable, user-friendly platform that meets the needs of our diverse user base.
• Key Responsibilities
Develop And Maintain Backend Systems
Design, implement, and optimize ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow or Prefect.
Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) ensuring data integrity and performance.
Develop RESTful APIs using Python (Flask/Django) or Node.js (Express) to facilitate communication between frontend, data visualization tools, and conversational AI.
Frontend Development
Build interactive and responsive user interfaces using frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
Integrate frontend components with Apache Superset for dynamic data visualization.
Ensure seamless user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Conversational AI Integration
Implement and customize Rasa for the conversational AI interface.
Develop custom actions and intents to handle complex user queries and multi-step interactions.
Ensure integration between Rasa and backend services for real-time data retrieval and report generation.
Data Integration And Visualization
Connect and integrate multiple data sources (Hudl, Opta, InStat, Wyscout, Catapult, social media platforms) ensuring seamless data flow.
Utilize Apache Superset to create and maintain interactive dashboards tailored to different user roles.
Implement real-time data streaming and updates within dashboards.
Reporting And Alerts
Develop automated report generation features using tools like ReportLab and integrate Google Cloud Text-to-Speech or Amazon Polly for voice reports.
Implement real-time alert systems to notify users of critical metrics and actionable insights.
Security And Compliance
Ensure data security by implementing encryption (SSL/TLS), secure authentication (OAuth 2.0), and role-based access controls (RBAC).
Maintain compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR.
Collaboration And Agile Practices
Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional interfaces.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality features on time.
• Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript.
Experience with backend frameworks such as Flask, Django, or Express.js.
Strong understanding of frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
Hands-on experience with Apache Superset or similar data visualization tools.
Familiarity with Rasa or other conversational AI frameworks.
Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
Knowledge of ETL tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect.
Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Experience
3+ years of full-stack development experience.
Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable web applications.
Experience integrating multiple data sources and handling large datasets.
Previous work on data visualization and interactive dashboard projects is highly desirable.
• Preferred Qualifications Advanced Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions (ELK Stack).
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Passion for sports, particularly football (soccer), is a plus.
