Job Description: We are seeking a skilled, experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team on a part-time basis, flexibility is require and there is a potential to go full time. The ideal candidate will have completed a dog grooming course and have hands-on experience in grooming. You will be responsible for providing grooming servics, ensuring each pet receives the highest standard of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other... grooming tasks as required.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs during the grooming process.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide professional advice as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organised grooming area.
• Manage grooming appointments and maintain accurate records of each grooming session.
• Assist with salon duties such as cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Qualifications:
• Completion of a dog grooming course or relevant grooming experience.
• Strong understanding of dog behaviour and handling techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a genuine love for dogs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
• Part-time position with a potential to do full time working 2- 5 days per week (specific days to be determined based on availability and salon needs so flexibility is a must.
