Job Descrption
The Female Account Assistant is responsible for supporting the financial team with a range of accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, data entry, invoicing, financial reporting, and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bookkeeping:
• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
• Record daily financial transactions, including expenses, receipts, and purchases.
• Reconcile bank statements and internal records.
• Invoicing & Billing:
• Prepare and send invoices to clients and customers.
• Monitor and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Ensure all invoices comply with company policies and regulations.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable:
• Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process payments, bills, and vendor statements.
• Track overdue payments and assist in collections.
• Data Entry:
• Accurately input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial records.
• Payroll Assistance:
• Assist in payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee time sheets, benefits, and deductions.
• Ensure proper deductions and bonuses are included.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Generate and maintain financial spreadsheets and balance sheets.
• Audit Support:
• Help prepare financial documents for audits.
• Assist auditors by providing required documentation and data.
• Tax Preparation Assistance:
• Provide support during tax season by gathering and organizing documents.
• Assist in tax filing and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• General Administrative Support:
• Assist with administrative tasks such as answering calls, filing, and organizing paperwork.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role (1-3 years preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Excel), knowledge of spreadsheets, and data entry.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and stay on top of tasks.
