Accounting and tax consulting company in Dubai is looking for SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Professional qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
• CA Inter or other relevant certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant, Tax Consultant or similar role in UAE.
• Well-versed in VAT concepts and thorough knowledge of VAT returns filing and refund applications.
• Knowledge on corporate tax and ability to present in excel corporate tax workings.
• Good MS Office skills especially excel skills. Practical knowledge of Tally ERP9, ZOHO, 1C accounting software

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax documents, and adherence to tax filing deadlines.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Analyze clients' financial status and develop tax strategies that minimize tax liability and align with their financial goals.
• Advise clients on potential tax implications related to their personal and business activities.
• Assist clients in tax audits by representing them in discussions with tax authorities and providing all necessary documentation and information.
• Address and resolve tax disputes with federal, state, and local tax authorities as needed.
• Client Communication: While direct client interaction might be limited, tax associates often assist in communicating with clients to gather required financial documents and clarify tax-related matters.
• Research and Analysis: They may research tax laws, regulations, and case precedents to provide recommendations or solutions related to tax planning or compliance.
