Machine Research FZCO is a free zone technology company serving clients across Europe and the US. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Assistant to support our operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day office administration and bookkeeping activities.
Role Overview
This is an on-site role requiring 40 hours per week in the office. However, there may be periods when remote work is necessary. The candidate must be comfortable working full-time on-site or in a hybrid mode where some or all of the workday may be remote as needed. The role is based at Dubai Creek Harbour, but the office location could change in the future and the candidate must be comfortable working in any office location within Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, journal entries, and financial transaction categorisation.
• Process bank statements, input transactions into accounting software, and associate receipts/invoices with the correct records.
• Manage office-related administrative tasks, including handling lists, organizing documents, and coordinating errands.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping.
• Maintain organised records for financial reporting and auditing purposes.
• Assist in liaising with European and US clients when needed.
• Handle day-to-day operational tasks to support the smooth running of the business.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Must have an Emirates be a resident of Dubai.
• Experience with bookkeeping software or strong data entry skills.
• Ability to handle various office administration duties efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of financial transactions and basic bookkeeping principles.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal); no Arabic required.
• Must have a valid driving license and be comfortable using own car or taxis frequently for work-related tasks.
